A class of primary school children started a class project to make a plant pot to take home and wanted to have a plant in it that was easy to take care of, so it was decided to use cactus plants.
The children were given plant pots in the style of a clown and they painted them with glaze and had them professionally fired at a class outing so they could see the process. It was great fun.
They planted the cactus seeds in the finished planters and they grew nicely but unfortunately were not allowed to take them home See attachment to understand why.
The cactus plants were removed and a small ivy replaced them and the children were then allowed to take them home.
The teacher said cactus seemed like a good idea at the time...

Yeah I know - I'm just not putting the effort in anymore, where on earth did I pick up the habit of re-hashing and reprinting old material?!!!!
I haven't been around here as much as in the early days (too much heat) but it's good to be back. Lovely to hear from you again, I'll try my best to post something 'original' next time now that I know you're watching me!
