I noticed the 'Main' part of the Board is now called 'Friends'.
Didn't the Witnesses use to refer to each other as 'The Friends'?
Maybe we ought to change it to 'Ren.dez.vous Brothers and Sisters'?
Just a thought!

You are right, along time ago the witnesses refered to one another as friends. Especially at the time of the world war and when they were imprisoned they would use the word friends to keep the enemy at bay. I believe we use to call that "theocratic stratagey." their own form of spiritual warfare.

Yuck. Dub flashbacks. The JWs-only mailing list that I started participating on in early '93 was called "Friends".

Outa, you are very observant. New changes to be implimented soon:
1) The site name will be changed to "The Kingdom Hall"
2) The distinctions of Junior Member, Newbie, etc. will be replaced with Publisher, Special Pioneer, etc.
3) The icon of a burning folder for hot topics will be exchanged for an outline of a Watchtower, similar to the one used in the magazine of the same name.
4) The term "live chat" will be replaced with "witnessing forum" -

If that happens, I'm outta here. The few years I was in gave me enough of that crap to last a lifetime. I still cringe when JW acquaintances come up to me saying "Hi Brother ........."
Makes me want to heave !!!!!!!
