At Costco with the wife buying half the store, but that's besides the point. Go to the shortest checkout lane and I recognized the checker from my old JW days. She dated one of the brothers from my hall for awhile until she decided he wasn't spiritual enough. Anyways I recognized her right off, but never said anything. So instead of asking where she knows me from or commenting that I look familiar....she carded the wife and I for the bottle of vodka. :) Wife noticed her looking at me repeatedly trying to place me (told wife where I knew her from while we were waiting in line). So the wife used her ID. On her ID it still shows her maiden name and the city (30 miles away) she used to live in. Sorry, the ID not gonna help you place me. haha. We never get carded at Costco...she was so trying so hard to figure out if I was a JW from back in the day.
Dunno, wife and I found it humorous and had a good laugh on the way to the car. Just needed to share.
