  I remeber thinking, when I had to deal with the mass amount of BV that our family had aquired and thinking, " WHY would they make everyone keep all this stuff since it's old and we're always receiving new light" plus we had to do the ones we made our self with the wires, cuz we were to poor to afford the brown ones..

  I threw them all away .. felt guilty doing it at the time.. WTF.. It was two Trash cans full

  Always thought it was odd to make everyone keep them... Really isn't it like a kind Worship of the WBTS..

  And thinking damn just keeping up with reading 4 mags a month.. plus save them forever.. everybody.. couldn't they just keep a set at KH..

  Really this may not sound like much.. But it is ..

  Umm you were supposed to use them to do research especially if you were on the school..

  New light didn't come as often as it does now and most JWs did the thoughtcontrol thing where their eyes would glaze over whenever they came across anything that was considered "old light".
