Has anyone seen anything in writing explaining the role of the Special Projects Committee? Several months ago our Circuit Overseer explained it to me, and I had not heard of it prior to that. From what I remember, each Circuit Overseer compiles a list of 10-15 key elders in the circuit to be available to assist him in handling complex matters in their region, issues involving child abuse, homosexuality, financial matters and appeals committees.Just wondering if anyone else has any info, or is on the list for that matter.

But aren't all JW's supposed to be equal? Oh that's right, title determines how good of a JW you are.

Great - just what we need: one more reason for certain JWs to feel even more elite.

For years COs have had similar "lists" of circuit elders for Appeal Committees, etc
Although 15 sounds like a high number - almost one per Congo.
Probably about that many if you consider also the list of Elders on the Speakers list for Circuit & District parts.
