BBC chilling documentary of the WTS and child sexual abuse.....called "Suffer The Little Children" Really gave me an upset stomach to see this... I'm so new to all this recent research.....never even heard of this Documentary!

Towards the end of Part three I noticed ( I think it's Theodore Jaracz) cocky body language as he walks down the stairs from the stage of a Convention and when he's cornered to speak by an interviewer, he sounds like such a loser...doesn't even have a hint of holy spirit...

I remember watching this with my family when I was in my early twenties. Prior to this documentary being broadcast, the London branch took the unprecedented action of having a letter read out before each Watchtower study on the Sunday meeting before (I think it was broadcast on the Monday night) effectively warning the brothers not to watch it. Our family watched it anyway, and were deeply shocked. I can remember one or two of us began to be openly critical of the Society's "aloof" approach, but gradually we all came to reason that it must be an exaggerated attack on the brothers. If only we'd taken it more seriously.

We were at an Assembly that weekend,(or it may have been the one after the screening, the old memory aint so good) the D.O did a good hatchet job, pointing out that a number of ex-JW's were involved in the programme, which put up the anti-apostate protection screen for the Dubs who he spoke to.

I watched it, with WT goggles on, and felt it was wrong to "doorstep" a GB member who was not prepared for an interview.

I have viewed it since, and of course it seems so different to me now.

I was disgusted that jarasz pointed out that in the EU there are privacy laws.

As if child rape is a private matter.

"I have answered your question, and it should be to your satisfaction." Was another memorable line.

Yeah that cocky bastard Jaracz! Love to dish it out *slamming apostates* but can't answer questions fully b/c he knew what the results would/could be.

They should've said "Bro. Jaracz, we need to meet with you about a judicial matter right now!~" lol

This show plus the US, Canadian and Austraian shows were all very well documented and were excellent programs regarding how poorly the WTS deals with the issue of child sexual abuse
