if jws are supposed to preach to everyone the good news, whyndo they refuse to talk to shunned ones ? isnt it their respsonsibilityntomkeep good relations so they can win them back ?
is shunning completely anti preaching?

SHHH! We're not supposed to think about that. If we were truly loving (as we should be) we wouldn't shun at all; then we would talk to all those “evil” apostates and learn the real truth.

The idea is that they already know "the truth."
After all, they were baptized as JWs, weren't they?
And they wouldn't have been DFd if the loving shepherd elders hadn't deemed it absolutely necessary.
The organization says that shunning is very loving...
... designed to make the person realize how they are affecting the brotherhood and bring them to repentance...
... while keeping the organization pure...
Of course, it's really the organization using guilt and fear to keep JWs in line.

but they dont know the truth, if they truely did and understood they wouldnt have left etc. also the truth gets shinier maybe they left'because some poimtmwas wrong and has now been improved.

Oh dear ... do you really believe what you've typed? I don't want to upset you but if you really want to know the truth about the 'truth' then stick around and read some threads on this forum. It may be a bumpy ride but try and keep an open mind...there is lots to learn. And the majority are a lovely bunch of people.
