I hope that I am not being too presumptuous using your name in that heading. But something you said on the elder and holy spirit link made me want to have a separate topic. You said and funny how it only asserts itself when previous understandings (also directed by holy spirit, incidentally) cause issues with reconciling the core beliefs. This is so absolutely true and so very telling about the "new light, light getting brighter" bull. Why doesn't new light manifest itself in simply evolving beliefs, as in filling out or expanding understanding of some matter. Because this would contain an element of "we had it a bit wrong" but thanks to the light getting brighter we now have a fuller more correct understanding. What they do is, as you pointed out bring in a "new understanding/new light/brighter light", and one that usually makes no sense at all and then blame it on the holy spirit. Not much different than the worldly "the devil made me do it" which is at least generally used in a joking way.

Yeah, revealer - that's the thing that blows my mind. If they truly are 'spirit directed' then they should all have the same understanding at the same time without having to debate or change their minds. So very delusional!

Since WT's light is spinning in circles like a police light, it's not getting brighter.
It's flashing forth all over the place, and getting more confusing!
This proves that WT isn't directed by holy spirit, but the waves of the sea.

WT's "representatives were not anointed by the apostles blessing of the hands.
These gifts of the spirit ceased after they and their disciples died off.
That would have been around 120-180 AD, so writings past that time are not spirited.
WT's literature may feature many things that the rest of Christendom rejects.
Yet, WT adds it's own evolving theology that does allot of back tracking.
Does that sound like a gift of the holy spirit, of grand manipulation?
Spiritually abusive cults keep talking, and will say anything to retain it's captives.
The action of the holy spirit is to reveal all of these charlatans before their end!
