    The governing body {Karl Klien} in the 1970's considered changing the Generation to refer to those who saw "Sputnik." This dumbass idea was not approved....however....2012?

    2012 New Light = "This Generation that knew the 1914 generation is.....the NEW "Generation." {If you can believe this you REALLY have faith!}

    2047 New light = The Children of the generation....that knew the 1914 generation...can be considered "the Generation..." {For reals this time}

    2052 New light = The "Pepsi Generation" can be included in "this Generation." {The oldest Governing body member is 32 so give us a break ok}

    2056 Anointed at the memorial- 167,569 {Even we can't explain this one sorry}

    (Ecclesiastes 1:1-5) 1 The words of the congregator, the son of David the king in Jerusalem. 2 "The greatest vanity!" the congregator has said, "the greatest vanity! Everything is vanity!" 3 What profit does a man have in all his hard work at which he works hard under the sun? 4 A generation is going, and a generation is coming; but the earth is standing even to time indefinite. 5 And the sun also has flashed forth, and the sun has set, and it is coming panting to its place where it is going to flash forth.

    This excerpt from the New World Freddie "the freeloader" Franz was not quite accurate it turns out. Soooo, the King James Bible (Cambridge Ed.)
    One generation passeth away, and another generation over-lappeth will be used from hence forth.

    Sincerely, Your brothers from the upper rooms in New York.

    Evidently we can now say with confidence that "this generation" correctly refers to one thousand years starting from those born in 1900. The new light on "This generation" can be tied to Luke 17:26 "Just as it was in the days of Noah, so also will it be in the days of the Son of Man." Likewise in our time the 1914 generation will also be one thousand years.

    Brothers and sisers, as we know, a generation in Noah's day was nearly one thousand years, and therefore we should be thankful for this loving provision that allows multitues more to come to a knowledge of the truth, and enables us to reach every corner of the earth.

    With this new light we can be in constant expectation of Armageddon until 2900, or until we receive newer light on this subject.

    We trust this puts to rest generational questions many weaker ones have have.

    It would be funny to put a message like this in an official looking Watchtower letter, and mail it to a few congregations.

    It's called the revolving door "generation". We know when the door went up, i.e., 1914, but we don't know who the last is through the door. It's an ongoing thing, see! Get it? No I knew you wouldn't get it because you're a bunch of godless, spiritless apostates!

    Don't you mean: "Evidently, Jesus spoke of 'this generation' of tortoises born in 1914."
