Jupiter and Venus visible for awhile

I came upon this interesting article that called the "Conjunction of Venus and Juniper" that appears every thirteen months. This will also continue to be visible for tomorrow evening as well.

Yes, we have been enjoying their appearance for a few days, but it has become cloudy the last couple of nights. Beautiful

We picked them both up a couple of nights ago coming home from work and looked it up on-line. Down here in NZ they were very bright and close to the horizon.

They've been in the Western sky for awhile now, getting closer together. Mars is visible east of Jupiter, last time we had a clear night here it was almost overhead as Venus was getting close to the horizon.

So cool that you started this thread,,, I was observing that very thing, hmm was it last night - no, the night before? SO clear, and easy to see, too!

Edit: nope, I'm not up too late. Actually, I was reading something last week or so that said there were 5 planets aligned .... wishing I was outside the city, and had the means of observing.
