Gift giving happens always, but uniqueness arises when it comes to giving gifts to someone who’s not there in our regular list of recipients. One of the examples is giving a gift for your boss. Does that happen always? Or should I rephrase the question a little and ask you whether it has happened even once until now? I know it might not have happened much in your life. Some of you may perhaps ask me the need for buying a gift for the boss? Yes, I know very well that you all are obliged to him for what you have achieved in your professional life, as you know very well that a major share of your success goes to your understanding and supportive boss, who helps you at every step of your professional life. But there’s absolutely no necessity to shower him with gifts to show your obligation, except for a few days like boss’ birthday, holidays, special achievements or celebrations.
Never look for the usual kind of gifts, but think about some Unique Gift Ideas , and present a special gift in very creative way. You don’t have to look for expensive gifts and burn a hole in your pocket. You can even choose something that’s reasonably priced, and present it in a creative way.

I think you just should march into his office and take a big dump on his desk.

My understanding from a lifetime experience is you can never ever really be a freind of your boss no matter how nice they are to you or how well you feel you are getting along with your boss eventually their will come a time when your boss will pull rank on you and put you in your place,he/she is the boss not you,do as I say.....In my 58 years in the workforce I have been fortunate to have reasonable bosses over me and I count myself lucky with that, some of my workmates have not been so lucky and I`ve had about 8 employers in that time the 1st,12.5 yrs and the last 28 yrs the rest inbetween. So what you give is what you got out of your experience.
