Notice in the "Proclaimers " book that Hayden Covington resigned because "AT THAT TIME IT WAS UNDERSTOOD THAT" non-annointed should not be part of the GB.

It's the "AT THAT TIME" that sticks out to me. In a witchtower study in the 90s (instead of Kings and Sulteans there will be Sheiks) non-annointed would become assistants "given ones" to the annointed GB.

They have to know they cannot spin out the annointed only rule idefinitely, even though they are currently increasing exponentially. Eventually even the dumbest R&F has to realise there have been more than 144 000 involved with the Borg since the 1870s.

Do you think they will allow non annointed on the GB again somtime? Maybe even one day having NO annointed there, as all the other annointed outside Beth Hell have all been deemed as "mentally diseased?"

At least non-annointed yes men will keep the whole lumbering shack standing a while longer.

Not too long ago, maybe four years, I remember hearing a CO talk about the dwindling number of annointed and how it became necessary to groom non-annointed men to take over the reigns. I rememebr thinking then (as a good and devoted JW) that there were still 3000+ (can't remember the exact number) memorial partakers earthwide. Why not just fly a couple of 'em in?

The WTS teaches that eventually (SOON) all anointed jws will die, be resurrected as spirit creatures, go to heaven and be priests and kings with Christ. But you can't tie them down to a time in their religious timeline. Supposedly, the anointed are all supposed to be present in heaven for their wedding as the "Bride of Christ" with Christ all at the same time. But the WTS thinks it is possible to have this wedding with only some of the "anointed" present. I would be p*ssed if I wasn't present for my wedding.

Notice how the WTS once again speaks out of both of their mouths and leaves the door open for some of the anointed to be alive on earth after Armaggeddon. Based on this crazy reasoning, then the last anointed, male or female, would be dead of old age in less than 100 years after Armaggedon.

Will some anointed Christians survive the “great tribulation” to live on earth in the new world before being taken to heaven?

Pointedly, the Bible does not say...

In the book of Revelation, immediately after John tells of God’s executing the religious harlot, Babylon the Great, he describes “the marriage of the Lamb.” A filthy, immoral “woman” is removed from the scene, and we see “the bride, the Lamb’s wife” ‘arrayed in bright, clean, fine linen, which stands for the righteous acts of the holy ones.’ (Revelation 18:10; 19:2, 7, 8; 21:9) The destruction of Babylon the Great is part of the great tribulation. (Matthew 24:21; Revelation 7:14) So it could be reasoned that some of the bride class will survive the great tribulation as evidence of Jehovah’s approval and protection. (Zephaniah 2:3; compare Matthew 24:22.) If they are thus preserved on earth, they could remain here until God chooses to take them to heaven.

However, the presentation in Revelation is not in strict sequential order. And it is not as though the small remnant of anointed ones will be needed to get the new world underway, for they have already trained millions of loyal Christians who will live forever on earth. Accordingly, God could take his anointed ones to heaven immediately after the destruction of Babylon the Great, setting the stage for “the marriage of the Lamb” to occur. All the holy ones could thus share with Christ in ‘shepherding the nations with an iron rod’ in the remainder of the great tribulation. (Revelation 2:26, 27; 19:11-21) If that is how God handles things, all the 144,000 would be with Jesus to ‘rule as kings with the Christ for the entire one thousand years.’—Revelation 20:4.

Considering that new annointed may well have mental or emotional problems according to August 15, 2011, Watchtower, it would be risky to put them in the top jobs

    Doesn’t matter.

If you meet the qualifications (you're a cranky old man who doesn't mind lying to, manipulating and misleading others) than all you have to do is say you're anointed and abracadabra you're in like sin.
