Would You Be Willing To Adopt A GB Member?

Suppose a GB member decided to take a stand for what is right and disassociates or gets disfellowshipped. Would you be willing and able to provide some assistance like a job or affordable rent?

I'm just curious. I don't have any inside information. However, if a GB member with a conscience can see that there are other alternatives, it might increase the chances of a defection.

At the very least, a former GB member could probably make some money by writing a book giving us updates since the events described by Ray Franz. I would consider investing in a project like that.

    I welcome your comments.

If they were GENUINE like Ray, I'd be willing to do whatever I could to assist.

I am sure one of the wealthy ones on this board can help him out.

P.S. I am not wealthy enough to help him out, but my boss is very wealthy.

Why did Ray stay so long at the top, even after seeing all the machinations of the GB and bethel ?

He was GB member for about 9 years. I think. I think he knows if he leaves too fast, hell will break out for him financially and emotionally. He also had JW family to consider like his uncle Freddy I wonder if Ray had another JW relatives???

He may have been in the GB for 9 years but he had a career for tens of years before that. He didnt just walk in to the top job, all those years must have shown him the difference between the image of perfection and order the outside sees and the politics and conflict inside. Im sure at the very least after a few years at Bethel one would realise its quite different from a perfect society, that GOds direction would give...

Maybe he enjoyed being JW back then even when he sees some flaws in the organization.

You have literally repeated two of my posts from the last few days, great minds ?

Maybe a new approach will work? If we start being supportive for everyone we left behind and everyone whos lives got chewed up by the monster , it may dampen their squid.

Why not offer forgiveness, not even christian, plain old human forgiveness. Tell them we understand and encourage them to be honest and open. Make it known we will all see the people who are promptly willing to be honest housed and looked after. I think it is the biggest power the cult has over its leaders.... They have noting! The cult has become a perpetual motioning machine, but we can pull the plug right at the top by ensuring they can live if they choose to be honest. There can't be one GB member who doesn't know that this is a failed attempt to follow good intentions that has led to very bad circumstances. I think these guys struggle to sleep at night, I think we can help them. In the words of a daft punk, they are human after all ......
