Alright so I know this is a tricky subject. But i'm curious to know right now more than anything...

I keep hearing that the number of JWs around the world is growing. Is this true? Is JW membership increasing the same way Muslim and Baha'i membership is?

What's the story? Is this just fabricated info to boost morale in the organization or are there more people joining? Or is it somewhere in the middle (as many people joining as leaving, for instance)? It might seem like a pretty by-the-book, direct question but i've just been wondering ya'll.

Anyone notice how at DC we would have different geographic areas represented?

Am I mistaken on this thought? It seemed to me that there was a constant changing of what circuits were assigned to what Districts and I wonder now if this has something to do with possibly hiding or making it hard to notice that the numbers are dropping since you cannot really compare apples to apples when every year it's a remix.

I could be completly wrong on this but it seemed that sometimes Jws from a certain state would be assigned, sometimes not assigned the next year.

"The Watchtower explains the Last Days have continued so long as Jehovah desires all to attain to repentance. If only active Jehovahs Witnesses will be saved then this Scripture does not make sense. On average, over 200,000 people are born everyday, but the number of active Jehovah's Witnesses increases by only 224 (2005 daily increase in average publishers). Each day that Armageddon delays requires Jehovah to destroy an extra 200,000 people."

Wow! What a shocking figure. That totally changes one's perception of the big picture.
