This new change will relieve financial pressure on the congregation and allow them to put our efforts and valuable things toward the work we are scripturally required to do."

April fools day or not, I have always been taking the option to not go to any of the boasting sessions or field circus. It has been 6 3/4 years since I have done any organized activity with Christianity. Aside looking at specific scriptures to throw them right back in the witlesses' face or to rebut Christianity altogether, I rarely even look at the LIE-ble. And that is no April Fools joke--maybe if they would have handed me my waste of paper, I could have pulled off an April Fools joke by promising to be at the REJECT Jesus Party and then not show up.
The fact is all the meat-ings ARE optional, they just make you think they're not.
That's the real April Fools.
