My JW mom always seemed to buy me a chocolate bunny and some Cadburry eggs near Easter. No Easter basket or egg coloring or egg hunt - but always a chocolate bunny & eggs made it, somehow, into the house. Perhaps she liked them? I remember she'd say that she always got them when she was a kid. Rest in peace, wherever you are. Your grandkids each got a HUGE chocolate bunny with super long ears and Cadburry eggs. We grownups ate some too.

I so enjoyed buying Easter Eggs for my family this year!
I start buying the leftovers tomorrow! Hurray for discount chocolate!
LOL BtheX, I do that too!! The best is when you take the solid chocolate, melt it down, then fill a small custard or tart pan halfway with chocolate, then peanut butter, then fill the rest of the way with chocolate and refrigerate it until it gets solid. GIANT peanut butter cups!!!
Today is the day to get the bargains on the good candies before everything is picked through.
I spent $30 today. 50% off! They still had Cadbury and lots of top shelf selections left. Unfortunately, there weren't any of the big bunnies, so I got several smaller ones instead. This next weekend I'll celebrate Orthodox Easter with my Peeps!
Maybe I'll make some peepkabobs with peeps, fruit, Reeses PB eggs, and maybe some marshmallow treats.
... or maybe a Peeptini?
