I'll never forget sitting at our District Convention when a lovely Pioneer family came on to tell us their experiences. They father went on about how the struggled at times but "Jehovah Provided" like the time a Fruit and Veggies truck must have lost some of it's load and they filled there bags????? Not very encouraging at all. I HATE these stories.

YUP. Our CO in Pioneer School claimed that a bread truck was driving by him and a fellow pioneer and they were starving...and a loaf fell off the back of the truck (um, aren't the doors on those trucks CLOSED when they're in transit??). He also claimed that on another occasion when they were again starving, a farmer drove by in a truck full of veggies and one of the farm hands started throwing cabbages at them. He said they picked them up and made cabbage soup (glad I wasn't a resident of that home!!! ).
Another experience of a sister who was sent door to door alone with her baby. The baby stroller had a squeaky wheel and she was so stressed out being all alone and having that squeaky wheel that she sat down and cried on the curb, praying to Jehovah and saying that she could carry on if the squeaking would stop... She opened her eyes and there was a can of WD40 on the ground...

I know so irritating...especially when you bust your chops and are left to feel that God is not with you because you never receive such help. This is something that has always bugged me. God plays favorites, so be a good little pioneer...

What about when satan attacks pioneers? You never hear of these.
I know of a young poineer couple who were involved in tragic car accident, the wife died. The were returning home after the meeting.

I used to give those experiences... we were 'trained' to see the hand of mighty jehovah in all good things.
these days, i have found the same things happen to me even tho i am now a tool of satan too...
either jehovah was blessing me then and now or satan was then and now. And if satan is blessing me, free from chains, what is the beneift of serving jehovah? Everlasting life on your knees? pass.

This is the sort of embellishment that makes me wonder if the whole religion is wrong. Was the whole story of Jesus nothing more than an embellished story about someone that was just an apostate Jew? (If he even existed at all, that is.)
Now, what happens of those stories where Satan provides? I suppose if I worship the Devil, he will provide for me. And probably much better than Jehovah would--including providing bad luck for those making trouble for me, and actually doing something for me. At the very least, Satan gives better insight as to what makes the human soul work than Jehovah ever will. They can provide all these lies about how their material needs were barely met, but has anyone ever found out how the human mind and soul actually work through the witlesses?

These experiences were in no way encouraging; they only taught me that if you put jayhoover first you're going to end up a starving penniless freeloader (that never really sounded appealing, hmm I can’t imagine why?).
And another thing:
I like how if money just falls out of someone's pocket and you keep it wash-towel considers it theft; but if someone’s goods (produce, bread, etc.) falls off a truck, or get misplaced, it's jayhoover providing.
Such bull-shight! If you take something that isn't yours it's theft, PERIOD. So maybe you should get a job and pay your own way instead of stealing, you lazy parasites.
