Three choices were offered to the question, "How do you think of Jesus?" (something like that) "As a child in a manger?" or "As a man dying on a cross?" or "As a mighty reigning king?"
As though those are the only ways that people think of Jesus? How about "as a great teacher?" or "as a man who stood up for what he believed?" or as a thousand other things that are respectful and accurate. Why does the invitation have to belittle other people's perceptions as small-minded and ignorant?
I think I understand why. It makes them feel way superior to the rest of humanity.
They really can't help it. You have to feel sorry for them...
