It seems the only exception to this “sick heart” phenomenon is when the Watchtower corporation is the one responsible for generating the expectations.

This happens in everyday life. However, this is not the case with the expectations that are solidly based on God’s Word. We can have complete confidence that they will be fulfilled. Even apparent delays are less likely to be disappointing.
