Between being funny, sound effects, editing and info., my fave thus far. I just wish they would have included the Miricle Wheat and Dummy Money Laundering WTS Companies that were also exposed.... still pretty neat...

Agreed, an updated version would be awesome.
Most of the things they mention in the video as false prophesies, younger generation Dubs have never heard of. I hadn't heard about most of that stuff until my wake up!
Most dubs would avoid a new video, demonize it, or ignore it. But it could get some thinking, and hopefully get more people to ignore them.

This was one of the early videos I stumbled across. It was split up but I watched the whole thing. I was in wake up mode, and I researched every single accusation that was brought up. It was a big help. Of course being old enough to really remember and appreciate the 1975 false prophecy helped.

This video does show how the commercial aspirations of this one guy created the foundation of the WTS. to what exists today.

The WTS. had alway one important hook to catch people and exploit them and that was the imminent Armageddon that was always soon to come.
This kept people's attention alert and mentally instigated people to be subservient working slaves to the WTS. publishing house.

Is that man and woman on the Witnesses of Jehovah video still living? I like how they show the watchtower bulidings in the beginning.
I like the part where she starts crying when she says her daughter couldnt celebrate her birthday. So 80's and so over the top.

The worst kind of funny: Unintentional. This is the kind of over-blown, sensationalist crap that would have the opposite effect of that intended: Convince "honest-hearted" ones that the organization was the Truth and that "opposers" traded in sensationalist half-truths.
It was made in the mid-1980s and has dated very badly, from the archly-serious narration to the frigid faces of the ex-JWs (HEAV-Y) to the over-heated sound-effects this screams "Emergency Emergency Emergency". One half expects a knock on the door any minute and a loud declaration from the local Jehovah's Witness spewing forth Rutherfordian threats and refusing to budge until you crack and sign on the dotted line. If it did not move so deathly slowly, I could bring myself to watch this barrel of laughs again -after first watching it in the late 1980s.
