I understand that Cliff's Aunt was a JW and that she converted some of Cliff's former band.

Cliff once turned up at an assembly but got mobbed by witness-bops. This was about the time that the Shadows went their own way.
He also had a fling with Jet Harris's missus, suffered with the guilts and decided to become absolutely celibate.
