John's Lunch -- the best fried clams & chips you will ever have, and trust me, I've sampled them from here to LA.
Also, there's a Mexican food restaurant in Manhattan Beach that we were talking about on one of Dogpatch's threads ... that would be equal! Best ... burritos and guac w/jalepeno salsa .... EVER!

Paley's in Portland, OR. The guy is a genius with food. Google him, Vitaly Paley. I worked with him on kitchen design to open his restaurant in 1995 he has won awards up the kazoo. Nice guy, too.
