Seems like we are making a farm out here...
last month we adopted a give away Draft horse, the boy is massive. His arrival prompted lots of yard work, fences etc.
Tonight as i write, the cat sleeps in a wicker basket by the fire and our newest arrival (10 mins ago), a 3 week old lamb sleeps in my wifes arms.
Country life is grand i tells ya!

a local lady rescues lambs and goats...so a goat will be on the way soon, and chooks.
the horse is belgian draft cross clydesdale. Bigger than the average clyde.
we planned to call the sheep Jesus and the goat beelzebub...probably wont!

we have two goats...(pets). Goats are great. And naughty. I love my chooks too.
OUr long term plan is to get some land in the wop wops...you are making me jealous.
