My mum's best friend Vi Bishop died on Thursday of breast cancer. She died peacefully in her sleep and she will be deeply missed.
Vi was one of those jw's that was an absolute angel. I never gave up on them because of people like her and my mums other friend of 20 odd years, Chris. She's a legend too, only suffering cronic fatigue!
Anyway, Vi used to babysit and change my stinky nappies VOLUNTARILY....so she's a legend in my book....and a VERY VERY patient person!
VioletAnai sorry you have lost someone like that in your life. On the other hand I'm happy that you had someone like that in your life.

That's very sad that you and your mum have lost someone so special. I was just telling my daughter today, who was having bossy friend problems, how very rare and special it is to find a true friend. And when you do find one you hang on to them for dear life. I feel that even though your friend has died, she is still with you in your memories. Treasure those memories.
