I cant see "GOD" in his various forms vacating earth in the forseeable future , in fact I see quite the opposite with the increase awareness of eastern religions and especially the rise in ISLAM in the western world.
I think the pendulum has swung from christianity to the muslim faith in centuries to come

Because God is dying, new forms are required to fool the masses, eg Global warming, the new con to take money from people for doing next to nothing.

God won't get anywhere in this world without a degree. Talking in Hebrew just won’t cut it in the city and burnt offerings are so yesterday. Celestial chariots are a no, no, Audi is cool. God needs to change his name, buy some decent suits, aquire a computer and start communicating in an up-to-date way. Life outside the desert will be a Revelation to him.
