Any Ex-JW's in the Nashville TN area?

  Hello Everybody ~~

  Hubby and I DA'd last year and we are so glad that we did. However, we are hoping to meet others that have left in and around the Nashville area. We are in our 30's and have two small children, however age really doesn't matter.

  I did try to Meetup.com to find former JW's nearby and while there are some "waiting" for a meetup, there aren't any currently. I thought this might be a good place to possibly meet other individuals and maybe families. Feel free to PM me or post here.

  I'm in Southern Illinois about 3 hours from Nashville. Once in a while I get sent to Nashville for work.

  Also, congratulations on your escape!! Just ROn and I are 40ish with 3 boys - it's so nice to finally live life as a normal family. Our older 2 are at Boy Scout camp this week, so we get to spend some one on one time with our youngest.

  Congrats! Based on PEW foundation figures Most people who identify as JWs are EX, so Nashville should have thousands!

  Finally, I know what you mean. It is still kinda new for us and it was the 1st year of school, so it was still a little difficult, but we are working through it. Both hubby and I were 3rd generation. Dead to most all family, but we know that in the end all will work out for our good. Yes, if you come this way for work, maybe we can meet up.

  Balaam, I hope you are right. That religion is the bunk. Everyone should be exes in my opinion, but oh for wishful thinking.
