on your computer to moniter your internet activities.

I don't think the WTS would do that. Even if it took 2-3 years for the virus definitions to update and expose it, eventually an anti-virus program would call it every time the DVD was put into a PC- which would be extremely damaging to Watchtower's reputation.
That's my guess anyway.

They could potentially do it but it would be caught so easily. The WT doesn't monitor anyone, it doesn't need to. It relies on self-monitoring and tattle-tales to keep the tension. It's similar to East-Germany, who can you really trust in JW-land, is everyone a spy, is my family going to betray me? That's what they are banking on and using to control their populace.

Nah, it's illegal without your permissions they would get millions of bits of data that would have to be deciphered. They are too lazy and too old school for that. Itseasier to just write an article about how evi a forum is.
