Have you come across the word “truthiness”, first coined in 2005.

Origin: Stephen Colbert, "The Colbert Report," 2005.

The word was coined to mean stating what one would like to be true or what in the speaker’s opinion ought to be true as “the truth”.

Does that sound familiar? I know seven million people who believe in truthiness. They have a miraculous monopoly on the miracle of ever changing “truth”.

Google it, you will see what I mean.

Heh, I know a non-Witness who kept a copy of the old blue publication that had the words "The Truth" embossed in gold on it's cover, just so he could go over to his bookshelf and show someone the cover, and then act like he was looking up the truth for anything and everything.

Lil' hint, folks: any religion that produces a book that touts to offer "the truth" isn't it. I know a snow-job when I see it. :)

There are other religions who refer to their teachings as "the truth".

How about "happifying?" The WTS probably won't get that word they coined into the Oxford English dictionary.

"Wasn't our day in field service so happifying?"

"I'm so happified you reminded us of that, sister Dumberthanbricks."
