  I was reading 'old news' today in the form of a newspaper from a month ago ( i use stacks of old newspapers to pack stuff i make). So there i was reading the news as i pack and read an article where 5 girls/women were slaughtered for bring shame on the family. The crime? Dancing with men. At at wedding feast of all things.

  And the religion? you already know don't you?

  And what boiled my blood was this thought : what the fuck is the Watchtower doing co-hosting a conference on persecuted minorities with these bastards?

  Another day where the JWs were lucky they were not calling in my area i can tell you!

  Damn, religion leaves such a bad taste in my mouth.

  I'm not aware of the news item you are referring to - however, the WT (co) hosting a conference on persecuted minorities?

  I refer to an article in our Adelaide newspaper about an incedent in Islamabad where some 600 women have been killed for this sort of idiocy in the last year alone and the 2011 OSCE conference in Bulgaria where the office of muslim denominations and the association of Jehovah's witnesses convened a conference do do with human rights. Absolutley hypocritical of both religions to want humans rights applied to themselves when they deny it to their very own peoples.

  JWs persecute their own from within, with pedophiles and shunning. They are mostly ignored by outsiders.
