No blood fractions would mean death for hemophiliacs and many other ill witnesses who require many gallons of worldly blood for survival.....too bad donating blood is a disfellowshiping offence.

What exactly is the scriptural reason for the ban on donating blood? anything from the N.T ? I guess not, yet many times the WT has said the Mosaic Law does not apply to Christians. And to quote supposed words to a fictional character such as Noah as applying to a 21st century medical prodedure is just plain bonkers !
I know they will say the old "in principle" thing which allows them to interpret it any way they like and apply it to 7million JW's , but do they really have a credible case for banning donation of blood ?
I think their absolute hypocrisy in this, accepting the use of gallons of donated blood whilst refusing to donate, should be publicised as much as possible.
I am donating again on the 20th July. It bugs me that JW's may minimise the effect of my donation by their crazy doctrines and stance.

they always use that abstain from...blood text. never utilizing the words the elipses replace. i am finding it hard to locate a witness who knows what ... replaces.

Acts15v29 or whatever it was "abstain from blood" was fine whilst they did actually abstain, now they take every part of blod, just not at the same time, ridiculous.
I would still like to see their argument for not donating, and what scriptures they use.

Methinks that, if the blood banks began to run dry, the WTS would suddenly come up with "New Light" that would allow donations. I would bet money on it.
