A poster put this on here a few days ago, things are not quite as jw-media spin apparently.
There was a link to the actual ECHR (in french) ruling. Needless to say the WTS missed out the bits where they tried to claim E250 per hour for their expenses which were also so excessive only the standard allowence was paid.

The Watchtower are the masters of spin. When the French government won millions of back taxes, jwmedia.org did not write a sensational article about "Watchtower paying France millions in illegally unpaid tax." Yet now that some of the amount has to be paid back to the Watchtower, they are terming it as illegally taken from them.
