I lived in Montana in the mid to late 70's and the cong I was in was okay with it. Moved to Minnesota and it was not okay at all. Went on a bible study in pants with another sister . She fronted me off to the elders and they "counciled me" When I ask it they would be willing to wear a skirt or dress they said no. I then ask if their refusal was because they did not want to freeze their woowoo off they were shocked, ended the conversation and I got the laugh of the century. Bout say it now hu??

I have to assume that ammo is British, and I got a chuckle out of the comment (Many of us Americans don't realize that the word "pants" means something different to our English friends)

Maybe your American Elders get a thrill by thinking of the british meaning when they tell sisters "no pants" !
