Call for Papers: Manipulation, Abuse, and Maltreatment in Groups
    Trieste, Italy
    July 4 – 6, 2013

The International Cultic Studies Association (ICSA) is conducting its
2013 Annual International Conference jointly with SOS-Abusi
Psicologici, Exit S.C.S. Onlus and Info-Secte/Info-Cult.

The conference will be held in Trieste, Italy from Thursday, July 4,
2013 through Saturday, July 6, 2013. Trieste is considered to be one
of the less-known jewels of Italy. The city overlooks the Adriatic
Sea and is less than one hour from Venice or the stunning Adriatic
    coastline.

Attendees and speakers at past conferences have been diverse,
including academicians, researchers, helping professionals, former and
current group members, families, clergy, educators, and others.

Individual presenters at ICSA’s annual conference will have 30 or 45-
minutes for paper delivery and discussion, depending upon whether we
schedule two or three talks in a 90-minute time block. Panel
organizers have 90 minutes for the panel. It is recommended that no
more than four people speak on a panel.

The Conference Committee will consider proposals in English or Italian
on all aspects of the subject, including victims’ perspectives,
psychological and social manipulation, religious fanaticism,
terrorism, law enforcement, treatment, prevention, and legal, social,
and public policy aspects of manipulation and victimization.

ICSA is not able to offer financial assistance to speakers, although
we do give speakers a discount in the registration fee.

Panel organizers for the ICSA Annual Conference, send the following:

    1. Panel title
    2. Participants' names, e-mail addresses, affiliations, and
    biographical profiles (under 200 words)
    3. Paper titles

Thanks, Randy for posting this... Barbara Anderson would seem to be an ideal participant. Trieste, by the way, is a lovely city; few Americans visit it, but it does draw seasonal visitors from European countries.
