I would be willing to try different kinds of toolbars as long as it will not damage the computer.

None, I use google chrome. Extensions are: Chrome toolbox (by google), adblock, flashblock, Lastpass.

Toolbars eat usefull space, I 've even consolidated existing ones so I have only 2 lines:
1. Menu + address + search
2. navigation buttons + some plugin buttons + tabs.
(Whatever plugin requires an extra toolbar is useless)

I keep the Tyndale House toolbar on IE9. But I don't have it on Chrome which I use here. Info on it can be found on the link.

No toolbars. They waste browser pixels on a netbook, and eat processor resources. Anything of importance can be put in a pop up or drop down menu, tucked away when not needed.
