I'm curious how many people here joined the dubs after becoming disillusioned with, or having recently left another religion.
Same question for how many joined another church soon after leaving dubbery (and prior to going through a thorough healing process first).

I dont even remmeber my last visit to a KH. I stopped going when i was a teenager, i just got bored of it all and saw some paradoxes that made no sense. However i have seen others state here that they are parts of different churches. I would guess for them they are simply finding a new community. They know God is not real , but its okay to pretend as an example to be good and positive. Many seem to realise the promises of the boble are empty.
No rebound religion for me.
I find myself drawn to science, music, sports, and humanity now.
Exploring the world and all that it has to offer, and discovering what I can offer to it and to my fellow humans - forms the foundation of my new religion.
The Oracle
I have begun to attend a non denominational church. VERY nice people. So different from witnesses. I feel comfortable there. I celebrated the Pastor´s son birthday party. First time for me in 20 years or so to do that.
Third generation born-in.
Quit religion for good to embrace its nemesis the gospel message instead.
