Lots of people seem to love Jesus because they think hes somebody special. If he was the Son of God, how come in over a thousand pages of holy writings and almost millions of words he is never mentioned by name or position. I know the JW pretend he is by way of poor word play, however it just seems weird that someone so important is not mentioned at all directly. We hear Jehovah is this and that thosuands of times, but nothing about Jesus. How does one explain God could forget this ?What was Jesus name before he became a saviour ? Why couldnt Jehovah simply say your forgiven and forget the stupid suicide of "his" son.
Why is Jesus never mentioned in the OT ?

Because magic isn't real and OT writers didn't really 'prophesy'.

John 1:1 says that the Word was with God in the Beginning. This is a reference to Genesis 1:1. Genesis 1:26 says "T hen God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness". The "Word" is Jesus Christ and is speaking with/being referenced by the Father in that verse. To find Jesus in the OT you don't have to go past Genesis 1. He's not mentioned by name because he existed before names were here.

Jehovah loves to announce his name in the OT and he cant afford a single mention of his sons name in its entirety. He never mentions he has a "son". How is it possible for the creator of the universe to be such an ineffective communicator ? Every parent ive ever known always mentions their kids as soon as you meet them and yet Jehovah has thousands of years and pages in the Bible and not a single mention ? Have i completely missed something ?

Sorry, i dont remember Jesus stating in his own words, in any of the gospels he was the "word". This line is interesting but equally confusing. Some claim its about the trinity, others its not about the trinity, its the holy spirit. everybody tells you something else. Again how could jehovah be such a poor author of words.?

Simply because Jehovah did not write the bible.
It is poorly written because it was written for the most part by ancient farmers and sheep herders who were not very educated.
Jesus was not mentioned by name because the guys who wrote the books that eventually were chosen to be included in the old testament could not tell the future.

I heard Jerome Bettis say "jesus" during the coin flip at OT (when he changed his mind) So I know it happened once
