well at least he's honest...they do have to wear that shoe. unfortunately the rank and file aren't gonna wear it on their feet but it will be inserted somewhere that will make it hard to dislodge.

seems to be a bit arrogant ... "I am a shoemaker ... you have to wear it" ... where is the humility in that?
and he is just following an outline made by the Governing Body, which he is a member of, don't question it, it comes from the Mighty GB (note I didn't use the term Almighty)

It just occurred to me how arrogant he is!
Of course I get the little humor he's attempting:
I just give advice/counsel/direction from God's Word and "if the shoe fit's, wear it!" Don't blame me, it's from God's Word. I'm just the shoemaker.
On the surface it sounds humble. But it really isn't. (Just like his "forget I'm on the GB" quip. Clearly designed to REMIND people who he is. How phony!)
But here's the arrogant part, if the counsel is REALLY from God's Word, then he's not the shoe-MAKER, God is.
If the counsel is REALLY from God, then AM, the Turd is just a lowly shoe-SALESMAN!
But in truth, he and the other GB boys are really the shoe-MAKERS because the MAKE-UP a lot of stuff that isn't in the Bible.
That being the case, we CAN blame him as the manufacturer of these defective, shoddily designed flip-flops and other ill-fitting pieces of footwear!

I dont HAVE to wear a shoe just because it fits.
For one thing I have plenty of shoes and I don't want any more.
It might fit but be bad for my posture/health.
It might fit but is ugly.
It might fit, but it's men's shoe and I'm a women.
It might fit but it's very, very expensive and I can't afford it.
The arrogance of it!!!

00DAD - you were spot on, I was about to post exactly the same thing once I woke up, but you beat me to it!!
If Anthony Morris III were truly humble (which itself is a paradox because he has "III" after his name) then he would draw attention to GOD as being the "shoemaker", not himself.
If you want to get all biblical on the subject, it's worth remembering that Moses forfeited entering the Promised Land because he made just such a statement, i.e. drawing attention to himself rather than God.
The more you think about it, the more pompous and self-important he sounds.
