  I seem to remember 6 months ago, an air of excitement amoung some of the witnesses. Slightly raised blood pressures and dilated pupils. "this surely is the beginning of the end for real" and comments even here (what was it? you people better watch out~?)

  Well time moves on, and I was just thinking... Just how long before they switch back to the "it will come as a thief in the night when you don't expect it!"

  and how those witnesses feel who can't make up their minds whether the end is preceeded by a sign of wars in one place after another or by a declaration of peace, or indeed neither as otherwise where would be the parallel to the thief in the night?

  the sickening 'joyride' of the dubs will no doubt peak again soon ... they find great excitement in the extreme sport of current affairs ... how pitiful that they are ecstatic at the suffering of others ...

  You know I have to admit when I saw that second plane hit and then the towers came down and then all the ruckus and camotion my mind flashed for a moment or two wondering if we were being kicked started into WW3. It's not like we were prepared for that and knew what we would think ahead of time. Unless ofcourse...

  It's pretty strange if you really think about how 'well' we've adjusted in 6 months. were like ants. someone steps on our buildings, we scurry around mad for a short time and then go on about business.
  And the fighting hasn't stopped.

  Yeah, I agree that whatever religion or atheist or whatever - those were pretty shocking events, but do you know what? I actually remember that feeling when I was a witness of almost drooling over death and destruction. It's almost like your subconcious which knows you are living a lie is being stroked by the vague possibility it could all be true.

  Time flies huh? Personally, I'd just started studying with the jw's when it happened, so here I was thinking, good I started now, armaggedons coming! I know, I know....

  Then the sister I study with said that Jehovah always warns his servants when destruction is coming, so the brothers will be warned well in advance of the impending doom! So is that the thief in the night, announcing he's gunna rob you in a couple of hours, when you've drifted off.
