What goes on inside the mind of an advertising agent?
Do they even have one?
Exhibit A: Celebrations chocolates advert
Couple in church about to marry ... groom about to sneeze (ah ... ah ... ah) Couple watching TV also about to sneeze with parents on sofa opposite (who don't look really 'old' - just badly made up) Couple finally sneezes and ... wow, party errupts and they break out the cholcolates to the music "Celebrate good times c'mon!"
WHAT is that about ?
I wonder how much they got paid to come up with that !
(I wonder what they were taking when they thought it was a good idea ...)
Girl opens door...electrician/plumber person standing at door...girl says 'oh hi come in...go fix my whatever'....guy walks down hallway...girl leans on door...pervs at his ass as he walks down hallway. Title of clothing (don't know which one) comes up on screen...commercial over!! In total..2 seconds!!
After the above commercial...another commercial not related...followed by:
Electrian/plumber guy standing outside of girls house...leaning on stair rail...says to camerman crew 'yeah yeah she was a really nice lady...gave me a cup of tea...really nice...although....I have to come back tomorrow...you know...big job' *he smiles* Title of clothing comes up on screen...commerical over! In total...2 seconds.
My thoughts...if you buy their clothing (designed for the working man) ladies will give you a cup of tea!! :o)
Husband walks in with new King Gee's (or whatever) on...wife says why you all dressed up (They're shorts, come on!), who you trying to impress. (15 seconds)
Next one he's leaning on his truck...I don't know why she is funny about it I'm only trying to improve our business image. (15 seconds)
And there was a third part of this ad series, which was so good I can't even remember it.
I suppose they sounded funny when pitched, on the 30th floor of the advertising office, with the high-backed chairs, and the brewed coffee's and such.
King Gees...that's the bugga!! I remember the paranoid wife series...I thought it was the same girl..except she's perving on the tradesman while her hubby is at work...cos she's got this thing about those pants lol...geeez!!
