Nice excuse for a nice fat price increase in gas. That ought to be nice for the witlesses that are thinking of pious-sneering this coming September, when they are going to be paying more than 4 toilet papers a gallon.
They ought to be thankful, however, that it isn't [yet] 1973-74. Hurricanes disrupt gas production for a while, but eventually refineries get back up and running. But, once Israel attacks Iran and we go in and help Israel, it is going to pxxx off Saudi Arabia, and they will stop sending us oil. And that is when prices will go up, this time along with shortages. Also, the hurricane is good practice for the resulting rolling blackouts. If you were poorly prepared for power outages from the storm, review what went wrong with that plan and upgrade so you will be ready for the rolling blackouts and blackouts from future storms.
