Apparently the rodents who get into the cabins and leave feces, fleas, etc. are infected with the hanta virus. They fear that as many as ten thousand people may have been exposed to this deadly germ which takes 6 weeks to incubate after exposure. 3 people have died already.

many of the "cabins" are just tents with wood floors.

This outbreak is just starting to "bloom". More cases showing up with early symptoms. This virus has a 38% fatality rate!

we are way overdue for major epidemic. the spike in population and speed in which we travel. zid very eloquently stated as much to me. unfortunatly the answer is not a popular one. it involves reproducing responsibly. not as a hobby.

Luckily its not contagious from human to human. We shouldnt have to worry about an epidemic

Between the hanta rodent virus, the west nile mosquito virus and the Lyme tick virus I think I'll just stay in the house.
