The book doesnt exactly support the Jehovah's Witnesses ideology, policies and teachings now does it? At the same time though they may not appreciate how it could be applied to them and may only see it in the context of politics.

I dare say that would very much depend on if the JW who saw it sitting on the bookshelf even knew what it was, much less had read it... If they were borne-in and home-schooled, it very well migh just have been written in sanskit, as they'd likely have no clue.
Sometimes their literary/cultural ignorance is a blessing to those who seek truths, as many JWs are completely clueless to all ideology outside of that of the borg, and will miss clues that are completely obvious to anyone who goes thru life with their eyes wide-opened....
