For those who maybe new to the net here is a REPOST from my files on an example of how WT has literally wasted and destroyed folks lives with Dogmas that were suppose to be the WILL OF JEHOVAH.
HOW SAD
REPOST::::::
THE FOLLOWING INFO WAS READ BY SOME NONJW FRIDAY AFTERNOON- THEY COULD NOT BELIEVE IT
I wanted them to see how the wt requires it’s members to WASTE their lives away
based on what they are told is the Will of God himself
Of course in the end one finds out that God had Absolutely nothing to do with it from the start
I shared with them examples of wt showing young men suffering due to their NEW RAMP Policy on alternative service
These guys were shocked that a church would require its members to suffer for what we all know now was NO REASON AT ALL
BELOW YOU WILL SEE all the years of wasted lives – DO THE MATH AND YOU WILL SEE just the tip if the iceberg

But Jehovah’s witnesses in the Netherlands have refused, not only military service, but also any noncombatant work offered as a substitute. The Scriptural reason for their stand will be considered later in this article

now we all know that there WAS NEVER ANY SCRIPTUAL REASONS FOR NOT accepting Alternative service
*** g71 1/8 13 German High Court Rules on Full-Time Ministers ***
In 1962 the first sentence under this new law was pronounced upon a young minister of Jehovah’s witnesses. He had refused to report for service alternative to military conscription
*** g71 1/8 13-14 German High Court Rules on Full-Time Ministers ***
Upon release from prison, these ministers were again called up for alternative service. When they refused, they were imprisoned a second time. Some were imprisoned a third time.
three times for not working at the Hospital, just so one would not be deleted and viewed as DA

But what really is your objection to civil, alternative service?”
The Witnesses explained ….. Therefore, any work that is merely a substitute for military service would be unacceptable to Jehovah’s witnesses.
this is what jw were taught and believe-
*** g78 1/22 9 Does Danish Law Conflict with Freedom of Conscience? ***
The decision involves those who are conscientious objectors to compulsory military or alternate service
why do they object to alternative service
*** g74 12/8 23 The Netherlands Frees Imprisoned Witnesses ***
Other questions narrowed the issue down still further. “When a person objects to military service,” the government’s agents declared, “he passes from military jurisdiction on to civil jurisdiction and from that moment has nothing at all to do with the military. <Why, then, is the accepting of such civil service still so objectionable?====

now notICE THE REASON GIVEN IS A WHAT JW BELIEVED WAS BIBLE BASED of course we all know now that it never WAS

Willingly accepting such work is objectionable to the Christian because of what God’s law says about the matter: “You were bought with a price; stop becoming slaves of men.” (1 Cor. 7:23) Civilian servitude as a substitute for military service would be just as objectionable to the Christian. In effect, he would thereby become a part of the world instead of keeping separate as Jesus commanded.—John
15:19; 17:14-16.
NOW -----------I asked the nonjw do you think that the leaders of the jw have the authoriuty to tell folks when God has changed his LAW
FOR IT it was Still God’s law back in 1974 we now see that God has changed his law today
SO DID GOD’S LAW REALLY SAY WHAT THEY CLAIMED or did they merely sign god’s name to the check and it bounced
*** w86 9/1 20 Christian Neutrals in a Bloodstained World ***
Whether the issue was shedding blood, noncombatant military work, alternative service, or saluting an image such as a national flag, faithful Christians took the position that there was no middle ground. In some cases they were executed because of this stand.—Matthew 24:9
wt commended it members who were killed due to some Unscriptural policy
now can one honestly say that a god NOT OF CONFUSION would direct a rule that kills his own people
these are the types of questions that when you ask a NONJW really gets them to thinking

*** w86 9/1 22 Christian Neutrals in a Bloodstained World ***
14, 15. (a) How did Jehovah provide guidance during World War II? (b) What clear-cut stand did Jehovah’s Witnesses then take?
notice the “B” question , it is designed to drive home the point

*** g83 10/22 15 Visiting Happy Prisoners ***
In September 1982, two ministers from the world headquarters of Jehovah’s Witnesses in New York visited another Greek prison. They met with over a hundred devoted Christians who were also happy.
. Why are they in prison?
These Witnesses were imprisoned because they hold fast to beliefs similar to those of early Christians……
really??
The imprisoned Witnesses in Greece usually receive a four-and-a-half-year prison sentence
over 400yrs of wasted time
notice the terrible mental price below that these men paid and why??????=== due to a rule that was never based on the bible
*** g78 1/22 11 Does Danish Law Conflict with Freedom of Conscience? ***
An additional negative factor in repeated punishment is that it brings greater interference in the life of a person than does one combined sentence. With one sentence served, the person can then resume his normal life. But repeated sentences leave the person in a constant state of uncertainty, greatly disrupting his life.
*** g78 1/22 10 Does Danish Law Conflict with Freedom of Conscience? ***
At times, the sentencing was done in such a way that the Witnesses were called up again and sentenced anew to an additional prison term. This was repeated, over and over. Many thus served between 10 and 20 years in prison because of this.

NOW WHAT REALLY IS THE “THIS”
Actually it is wt silly and Goofy rules

Yes wt has wasted so many lives due to their “Unscriptural rules”
Any jw who wants to can call it THEIR UNDERSTANDING AT THE TIME
THEIR INTERPERTATION, WHATEVER
Bottom line---------- it was never based on the bible

it was an opinion the very day it rolled off the [presses in brooklyn – yet jw were to view it as the will of God Himself
How sad
