Inheritance money dilemma

I'm in the process of rearranging my 401k money. While filling out the forms I came across the part where I enter the names and SSN's of the people to inherit the money should I depart this earth before I retire.

I'm stumped. I have no one to give it to since I was shunned.

Sure, I could give it to my family, but odds are they would send it the Org. JWs are strange people, they don't (officially) think a person's salvation can be bought, but they sure do act like they are trying at times.

    Any ideas?

A worthy charity? More distant relatives?

We have almost the same dilema - who do we leave our overdraft to??

I wonder, are SilentLambs or Associated Jehovah's Witnesses for Reform on Blood (AJWRB) registered charities??

I don't blame you for not wanting ANY of your hard earned savings to get anywhere near the WTS.

How about a hospital? or the Red Cross? or the SPCA? Habitat for Humanity? Your old high school? There are lots of worthy charitable organizations out there. (Hospitals and schools usually recognize gifts like this with a memorial plaque of some kind, if this is important to you.)

If you specify that you want the money to go to your estate, you can specify in your will how you want that money divided, if you can't decide on any single charity.

What I have considered doing, as a kind of a bitch-slap upside the face from the great beyond, is to start a small, but not terribly valuable collection of UGLY art. Each piece to be bequeathed to particularly nasty JWs in my past. At least they won't be able to say that I left them out of my Will.

Go to the pound and adopt a really ugly lazy dog, one on death row. Then leave your estate to him. Appoint who ever you Don't want your assets to go to as executor of your estate under the condition that they only use the money for the benifit of the dog and to pay the salary of another to be hired to watch over the dogs interests.

Let me please suggest you give it to some organization doing primary research on melanoma. Fifty years ago your chances of coming down with this form of cancer was 1:1500, now it's 1:85. And it's a particularly bad way to go. Once it gets past your lymph nodes, there's no cure, only remissions of one length or another until finally it turns into a "forest fire" in your body.

    But that's just my idea.
