I thought some of you may find this interesting. It is so humorous to look into the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society's OWN literature and so blatantly see they change their mind and lie so frequently.
These are DIRECT QUOTES from their own literature. If you doubt my posting this, please check for yourself.
Now to establish a precedence that the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society, the corporate religous entity which provides literature and oversees Jehovah's Witnesses worldwide, believes it IS an inspired prophet, let us look at
The Watchtower April 1st, 1972 page 197 of the annual bound volume.
'They Shall Know that a Prophet Was Among Them' ***Now if that is not enough to convince you that they feel that they are indeed inspired, let us check
People today can view the creative works. They have at hand the Bible, but it is little read or understood. So,does Jehovah have a prophet to help them, to warn them of dangers and to declare things to come?IDENTIFYING THE "PROPHET"
These questions can be answered in the affirmative. Who is this prophet? ... This "prophet" was not one man, but was a body of men and women. It was the small group of footstep followers of Jesus Christ, known at that time as International Bible Students. Today they are known as Jehovah's Christian witnesses. ... Of course, it is easy to say that this group acts as a "prophet" of God. It is another thing to prove it. The only way that this can be done is to review the record.

Ok, now we have substantial, credible evidence that the Watchtower Society has declared itself a prophet inspired DIRECTLYDown with the Old-Up with the New! ***
... but, Who will be Jehovah's prophet to the nations, to speak to them everything that He should command? Who will be the modern Jeremiah? ... So who will prophesy with his message in this time of the end of the nations of this world? ... How was the question answered? ... The fact that decides the answer to the question is, not, Do all the clergy of Roman Catholicism and of Protestantism agree that Jehovah's witnesses have been and are God's prophet to the nations? but, Who discerned the divine will for Christians in this time of the world's end and offered themselves to do it? Who have undertaken God's foreordained work for this day of judgment of the nations? Who have answered the call to the work and have done it down till this year 1958? Whom has God actually used as his prophet?14 By the historical facts of the case Christendom is beaten back in defeat. Jehovah's witnesses are deeply grateful today that the plain facts show that God has been pleased to use them. ... It has been because Jehovah thrust out his hand of power and touched their lips and put his words in their mouths...

by God.
Now, this is what troubled me.
If one rhetorically asked themselves, do you have to be a member of a particular religion to be spared?
Let us see what the Jehovah's Witnesses and the Watchtower Society have said. Check the "You can Live Forever in Paradise on Earth" Book, which states:
*** You Can live Forever (1982, 1990) p.255 ***Yet, if you go to the website which is the Authorized Site of the Office of Public Information of Jehovah's Witnesses, and to their Frequently Asked Questions section. I will provide the URL conveniently for you, which is
Do not conclude that there are different roads, or ways, that you can follow to gain life in God's new system. There is only one. There was just one ark that survived the Flood, not a number of boats. And there will be only one organization--God's visible organization -- that will survive the fast-approaching "great tribulation." It is simply not true that all religions lead to the same goal . . . . You must be part of Jehovah's organization, doing God's will, in order to receive his blessing of everlasting life . . . .[Bold mine for emphasis]

Now, if you will scroll down to the 8th paragraph, the question posed is:
Do you believe that you are the only ones who will be saved?
Note the answer given.
No. Many millions who have lived in centuries past and who were not Jehovah's Witnesses will come back in a resurrection and have an opportunity for life. Many now living may yet take a stand for truth and righteousness before God's time of judgment, and they will gain salvation. Moreover, Jesus said that we should not be judging one another. Humans look at the outward appearance; God looks at the heart. He sees accurately and judges mercifully. God has committed judgment into Jesus' hands, not ours. —Matthew 7:1-5; John 5:22, 27.[Bold mine for emphasis]
This is an interesting contradiction. It seems for public-relations purposes the Borg have yet again lied to the public, hoping that misinformation would confuse the public about their true beliefs and fundamentalist ideals.
Humans look at the outward appearance; God looks at the heart.
An interesting statement coming from the "inspired prophet" because if I am not mistaken, a man with a beard is viewed in the congregation as "spiritually weak" and honest, sincere people with other religions are simply "worldly" and destined for destruction.
What hypocrites. Hopefully someone can use this information to steer a family member or loved one away from such fanatics.
