The producer of the Fifth Estate program "Whistleblowers" update contacted me this afternoon. The date has been changed for the program to Oct. 19th. Everything else stays the same as follows:
On CBC, October 5th, 19th Friday, at 9 P.M., there will be a 10 minute update based on the January 29, 2003 story, "Spiritual Shepherds" featured on the Fifth Estate Program that aired on CBC, January 29, 2003, about JWs elders covering up child sexual abuse.
The October 5th update will be included in a program that is part of a series named "Whistleblowers."
The focus will be more of an update on one of the people, Holly Brewer, who was featured in the story the first time....a sort of where are they now. Also discussed: whether there have been changes in the Watchtower organization's directions to elders on handling child abuse accusations since "Spiritual Shepherds" aired.
