On October 29, 2017, millions of people will observe the 500 th year anniversary of Martin Luther nailing his 95 Theses to door of the Castle Church of Wittenberg, kick starting the Reformation. Currently, I am listening to Martin Luther's commentary on the book of Galatians, and it struck me how current his struggles sounded. Change some of the terminology and he might have well come out of the Watchtower Society. His struggles were our struggles. History has repeated itself.
What will we do on Reformation Sunday, five years from now? None of us knows what our life will be tomorrow, but God willing, we will be alive and kicking. I propose that we start planning, drafting our 95 Theses and hand delivering it to Watchtower HQ, or perhaps locally, to Kingdom Halls.
God willing, the Organization will in decline by then. The Conti appeal will be decided and more lawsuits will have been brought to court. It will be 103 years after 1914, 92 years after 1925, 42 years after 1975, and 22 years after 1995 when the Generations changed. What is more, it will have been 100 years since The Finished Mystery…part of the "right food at the right time" that Jesus supposedly approved of.
For Christians and others who've been hurt by this Organization: what an appropriate time to act! Let's brainstorm and see what we can come up with.
