I know I haven't been around here for a couple of years or so, I've been busy researching many other topics and such. So I've collected tons of JW publications and scans (many from here, I owe so many of you, big time) and now I'm writing a book on how to reach out to JW's. I was hoping to find some folks here that were willing to share their story/experience of being in the Society. I would like to find some ones who have been personally affected by their former transplant ban, and/or their transfusion ban. I'm up for anything really, if you would like to know more details or are interested, please contact me at my website. Thank you.

IMO, this is a near futile effort= trying to get JWs to change their mindset. Your time would be better used by educating the public about JWs and preventing the JWs from obtaining converts from your neighbors through their crafty KH/WT subterfuge. Lying to themselves is second nature for JWs-

Moshe,
Thank you for your your input. My book contains a little bit of everything, including what you speak of. I have a chapter dedicated just for mind control/propaganda techiniques on how they get people in the org, and keep them. In addition, I have chapters dealing with the pedo and medical issues as well, which should get the eye of any non JW as reasons not to join. Also, even though I agree it's an uphill battle to change the mindset of a JW, it's not impossible. I have gotten a number of them out. Even if I could get just one [more] I feel it's worth the effort. This book is written in such a way, where I try to address issues for Christians, non Christians, and JWs. (of course JWs won't read the book but it has things to address them with from their worldview) I know that's a hard tight rope to walk. Take care.
