What is the legal position on doing a Martin Luther. eg. nailing something to their KH door?

Saying something like` I know that its a load of BULLSHIT so I can't join unfortunely?

`I see your magazine says a load of twaddle about Sheep always been tame when man has have to domestice animals to tame them(At least the COE doesn't come with such Bullshit so the COE must be the true religion)'

Could U B had up for saying such things

These days nailing may be considered to be destruction of property, but I see no reason why you could not affix a message on the door using a non-damaging method. You could even put flyers under everyone’s windshield wipers during the meetings. Just keep in mind that their Aposto-Shields will instantly go up and disregard most anything you write.

Also, don't use the mailbox/slot - the JWs found out that one can go to jail for that! (It's a federal offence to use the mailbox for anything other than US Postal Mail.

Believe it or not, the Society may have had a near disaster
    with what you suggest.

It was rumored that many years ago a looney Bethelite
named Arthur Goux wanted one of Rutherford's pronouncements
nailed to church doors. Supposedly, the Judge hit the roof
when he found out about it.

    Badboy,

Unfortunately this probably would have little chance of doing more than raising an eyebrow or two.

I am personally acquainted with a member of the GB whom, if you nailed anything to his fore-head would not notice it for at least three weeks, and then only because he received a memo from his wife pointing this out to him.

What chance does a KH hall door have?

Watch out for ordinances. To put flyers on cars in a parking lot most places you need permission in writing from the proprietor. The door of the hall may work, but the first person in the door will pitch it so it will be virtually wasted time. Cars parked on the street may be different since this is public property.

Still, I agree with those who think that this will only alert them to apostates and they will be all the more emboldened to go on with their work. But believe me, I wanted to tattoo a few thinks on some people's foreheads myself....or burn a message in the lawn.

My only fun is when I see one scowling at me I say, "I found out what they don't want you to know" with a concerned look. That is brief enough they can't run and tends to stick in the craw.

Just live life as normally as you can and they will see that leaving the Borg doesn't end ones life. We aren't frothing at the mouth heathens out to get them. Leave them to their own devices and they will crumble. I live a block from the hall and occasionally put out a Silentlambs poster when they drive by, but smiling and waving does alot more damage...or seeing you playing with your baby on the swing. It will get them thinking, which is the point. Telling them exactly what they are will only shut down that process.
