Are They Too Cowardly To "Prune"?

  The Governing Body's reaction to organizational decay is quiet compromise: 70 hours for pioneers, cut the magazines, dump the Bookstudy, cut literature, layoff Bethelites, overlook porn and more.

  They must know that their trumped up '8 million' Witlesses is inflated by fakes, slackers and elders who serve because they don't want to lose their families, don't you think?

  Why not create a test, a trial..... a doctrinal change that trims the Organization down to a smaller number of loyal fanatics who open their wallets more easily?

  C'mon you Bethel Monitors! Don't your bosses ever get tired of finger wagging and nagging over and over and over with little or no effect? The internet has been around for some years now, slipping confidential information all over creation. Your use of the whip is long overdue. Things are rotting away, Brothers.

  I'm pretty sure the thought has crossed the minds of at least a few higher-ups.

  But as you say - they are too cowardly, along with having all the creativity of gravel. Even if they finally decided to pull the trigger, there's not enough brainpower among the lot of them to come up with anything more adventurous or original than "obey us or die".
